The imperial sword and the potential of it being used for the final fight

Hey everyone i hope you are doing well. Recently i went back and rewatch sword of the wizard king and something has crossed my mind especially with the recent events in the manga.

Why would they introduce the imperial sword right before the spade kingdom arc (since that’s probably the last place the movie takes place) and not bring it up again? Could the imperial sword be brought back as the final trump card for asta to beat you know who..

It would be poetic like how it was in the movie that asta bonds, love and determination was the key to being able to overcome all the final boss.
