Idea for knife combat in new battlefield

I wonder if knife combat could be improved. For example, if an opponent tries to stab you but you successfully counter it, the attacker would have to quickly press a random combination of keys to prevent your counter attack. This could include movement keys combined with mouse buttons and a knife attack key,maybe even in specific order. Just a thought

Maybe there’s another, better, and more suitable way to make knife fights more engaging
