Why aren't P/M style Basses a Thing? Seems like an ideal Combo, first company to implement this will be onto gold.

A Stingray used a humbucking Bridge pick up, a Precision Bass uses a split bridge style pick up and an ULTRA uses a P/J combination.

Seems to me you can get the best of all 3 worlds by combining this. I am thinking of ordering a custom Sadowsky down the road with this pick up combination.
