Officially part of the club

Happy to say I officially am a BFS-er after an EMG this morning. I was diagnosed with BFS and also have a compressed nerve in my elbow which explains the grip/fine motor issues in my hand. I wasn’t overly fearful about the alternative, but it’s definitely been in the back of my mind the last 9 months.

I’ve been twitching for 9 months and have a host of other neuro issues. The EMG wasn’t nearly as bad as I feared and I completely trust my doctor’s interpretation of the results. I am healthy. I am strong. I am grateful.
