Weighing up getting basic pest & build VS more in depth inspections

I'm looking to buy my first home soon, and looking for insight as to whether I should get a basic pest & build, or hire separate contractors for more in depth inspections. Ie: build inspection, pest inspection, plumbing inspection, electrical inspection.

I would guess that there are certain scenarios where these kind of inspections are more valuable, but as a first home buyer I might be overlooking some of these.

For context, in case any of it matters, I'm looking to buy in Melbourne, 40's-80's era, brick construction. I'll be looking ideally for something that is a mild fixer upper, without structural issues or the need for major works like roof replacement.

I'm also wondering about whether anyone has done mould and/or asbestos inspections at the same time as these, and whether you included mention of these in your terms of offer.

Any advice?
