Fencing dilema with neighbour

Hi everyone,

I’m hoping for some unbiased opinions regarding a fence issue with my neighbor. They’ve pointed out that the fence is falling over, and the base is rotted, so they believe it needs immediate replacement. While I agree the fence will eventually need replacing, I feel it’s not as urgent. From my perspective, it’s leaning slightly but still holding up.

I’ve attached pictures taken from different angles and heights to show the current state of the fence.

The issue is that replacing it immediately is a low priority for me since I just settled on this property 10 months ago and have other works planned. However, my neighbor has been quite persistent about getting it done soon.

So, I’m asking: 1. Does the fence look like it’s in dire need of replacement? 2. Should I stretch my budget and prioritize replacing it now to avoid further tension with my neighbor?
