Are 1p coins still worth it?
I was just casually thinking about this... When you shop and the cashier is about to hand you 1p, is that amount worth the extra few seconds of waiting? Then there's the fact you come into contact with probably the most unhygienic coin. Then there's the space it's going to take up in your wallet/pocket. Is that worth the 1p?
What about if you accidentally drop it and it rolls away a little? Is the action of walking over to it and picking it up worth the value of the 1p?
Thoughts? Is 1p still worth the hassle/time/dirt/space in this economy, or does it make more sense to ignore it?
