Building a photography studio. Need help

Hi

So I own a company called Epic Desk in which we specialize in custom, limited edition deskmats/mousepads with incredible artwork on them. For the longest time I was in a perfect studio setup. It was in an old mill brick building with giant windows above my desk that acted as a natural softbox and no direct sunlight coming in (except for early morning, which I never use)

I taught myself photography and utilized this space to my advantage. I never needed to purchase any lights or softbox because the windows were my softbox. I’m using a Sony a6400 with a 35mm prime lens.

Unfortunately we moved states and I had to move out of that office. I moved to a new office and I am struggling to recreate the magic that I had in the old one.

Here’s some of my shots from the new office

https://epicdesk.shop/collections/in-production/products/nymn

https://epicdesk.shop/collections/live-pre-orders/products/alinity

I am struggling to figure out what to do. I purchased a softbox and a light and have tried shining it at a 45 degree angle at the setup (pc side) and also tried shining it up into the ceiling as well.

I would love to go for a more dark and moody feel, kind of like the photos on this page https://skypad.gg/products/mousepad-3-0-black-cloud

And this product page

https://voodoocycles.com/product-category/spirits/mountain-spirits/

Should I paint the walls black? Should I get some LEDs and tape them around the desk? Do I need color changing lights? What would you guys do to truly make my photos special again?

I feel like the one thing I had on my competitors was my photography and now that’s gone out the window. Please help!
