How often do you see your girlfriend (or boyfriend)?

Update: We had the tough conversation, and even though he was visibly upset and said that he loves me, he didn't wan't to change anything. So yeah, we broke up. I feel like shit, but I still think it was the right decision.

I’ve been with my boyfriend for 2 years, and we see each other maybe once a week on average, even though we live only 10 minutes apart and go to the same university. I would love to see him more, but he tells me that’s too much for him and that he needs his “freedom in the relationship”, which makes me feel unwanted and needy. I don’t know whether or not I’m being unreasonable or what’s normal in a relationship. How often do you see your partners?
