CT with contrast finds “predominantly lucent lesion” need opinions
Back in Jan 2024, I went to the ER for minor blood in urine (I am a relatively healthy 43 year old male, no history of bleeding). During the ER visit they decided to perform an abdominal CT scan with contrast. The CT scan came back with the following finding -> “approximately 3.6 cm predominantly lucent lesion along the right femoral neck, probably representing a benign fibro-osseous lesion(such as liposclerosing myxofibrous tumor)”
Following week I went to my doctor, and he said not to worry about it since it is not bothering you. Fast forward to today. I’ve been starting to have on and off back issues again (I’ve had some back pain and tenderness for sometime, mainly very achy back and side. At touch there are a lot of areas that feel tender some near the hip bone and also side muscles. I do have a 1 year old and a 3 year old child which I am constantly picking up.
I am starting to get worried and maybe I should pursued this further? Go for an MRI and ask my doctor for it?
