Is it possible to live in Chicago on the minimum wage?

Hello everyone,

I've been offered an internship to go to Chicago but I was wondering if it was possible to live on the minimum wage of $2200.

Is this possible or will I have to take from my reserves to make up the difference? I'm from Europe and it's difficult to say if this life is affordable here.
