What did Princess Diana do?

I came across this list called 100 Greatest Britians, and saw Princess Diana in top 3. She ranked higher than people like Charles Darwin, William Shakesphere, and Issac Newton. While I know all the other people in top 10 and what they did, I could not think of much for Princess Diana. It was written that she was admired for her philanthropic deeds, but there were no clear examples. Her descriptions were very short compared to others on the list, and just says that she was a wife of King Charles, and a mother of two.

I'm not trying to be offensive. Just curious of what she did.
