Is transferring still an option if I did bad in hs but 3.96 in college.
Im in my first semester as a sophomore at Boise State, and I would like to transfer somewhere a little more academic. I have straight As, I am in the honors college, and I am an officer in an organization related to my major. I think my college record is pretty solid, and I would like to apply to some schools more relevant to my particular major. Im looking at the likes of UVA (would be in state) or GW. So that range of acceptance.
The issue here is that my HS GPA was a whopping 2.8. I did NOT care about academics in HS. Basically never turned in missing assignments and coasted through without a purpose.
I really want to succeed in my career path, and a large part of that involves networking at a more academic school. A lot of the schools I am looking at require HS transcripts. Am I done for or can my college record save me? Not necessarily looking for a yes or no, but if anyone has any relevant information I would love to hear.
