How do I explain to my mum that my cleaning routine isn’t OCD?

She says I clean too much and that life isn’t just for cleaning, but her house is sooo dirty… she hasn’t even cleaned her under the sink cabinet for years, or her bathroom properly. She hasn’t even cleaned thick dust around her bath tubs and all around her house and bathroom, black mould on the walls, toothpaste splatters on her mirrors, dead insects and pieces of tissue on her window sill in her bathroom and she had a lot of dust in her kitchen and bedrooms but I helped her clean it. And more, just in general, her house isn’t clean and she barely mops her bathroom.

It even took me so much convincing to get her to change her bathroom shower curtains, they were so mouldy and she said it was fine. So I helped her buy new ones and changed it for her.

My cleaning routine isn’t that crazy, it sounds like a lot but it’s not. I deep clean the kitchen once a week, clean the shower once a week, wipe down the toilet and bathroom sink with antibacterial cleaner daily, mop once a week and vacuum by removing everything off the floor on that same day (as well as cleaning the mirrors and skirting boards) and on the mopping days I add one or two deep cleanings to do like cleaning out the fridge properly (I do that frequently but I deep clean once in a couple months, cleaning the windows, deep cleaning under the couch, fridge, stove and other furniture and more, or inside cabinets)

Basically I just make sure there is no dust or mould or anything in my house. My mum thinks I clean too much though, but she hardly cleans. She says that I can’t just clean my whole life and need to have fun. My toddler actually follows me around and watches me clean on those mopping days and he seems to enjoy it and plays while I’m cleaning

But the thing is, because my cleaning schedule is like 3 days of deep cleaning and they don’t last all day, just shower cleaning one day, deep cleaning kitchen one day (my kitchen is small) and vacuum, mopping and deep cleaning something the 3rd day and the rest of the week I do general cleaning and tidying and go out, make yummy meals and do activities with my toddler.

Why does my mum think it’s too much? I even explained it to her. And is it normal for her house to be as dirty as I described?
