Got engaged new years 1997

In 1996/97 new years, I was 20f. My bf and I went to house party. Drank got high and had a blast. I don't remember all the details but by 8am we were calling all our family and announcing our engagement. Got married that March. Now it's new years eve. Tomorrow is 2025. We've been married almost 28 years have 4 sons, all grown. We spent new years eve watching twilight zone, and he's asleep next to me by 11pm. I wouldn't change a thing.
