Prints won't come off glass print bed even with glue stick

Am I doing something wrong? Am I stupid? I got a new Longer LK5 for the holidays and nothing I do to the damn printbed short of breaking it gets prints off of it. I tried a glue stick to see if it would help, and it almost seemed to make it worse. Is there even any benefit to glass over flexible magnetic beds?
