I'm reading the novel

So under my last post when I said I just started reading manhua a lot of you said to just read novel because manhua is censored a lot and it got cancelled at one point anyway so I did and now I'm reading the novel from the moment where I dropped the manhua and I can see why and how heavily it got censored lol. Plus a lot of comments are scaring me, like, I know Shi Mei died in the first timeline and I won't be surprised if he dies now too but why do I feel like there's something more to it...? (⁠｡⁠ŏ⁠﹏⁠ŏ⁠) Anyway I'm so excited to see how the plot progresses even though I only found two books translated in my native language online so far
