Clash 100v2 to Ezone 100 - First Impressions
Brought my Clash 100v2 in for restringing yesterday so I'm demoing an Ezone 100. A few observations:
- Difference is like night and day. The Ezone 100 is dramatically more stable, particularly when hitting balls on the fly. I'm hitting noticeably better with it, in part because I'm not worried about losing stability when I hit hard.
- Ezone is so much stiffer! The difference is huge and I hope my arm isn't too sore later this week.
- Also, the demo I tried has a fairly soft poly (Polytour Pro, I think). I'm coming from a multi (Technifibre NRG2 17) and they only had a demo with a poly. I had significantly more power without much loss of control. Again hope I don't experience soreness from it. Have to figure not an issue if I'm just demoing it for a few days.
Going to probably try finding an Ezone with multi to try next, and also a Vcore. Overall I like it *a lot* more than my Clash (which I liked but had stability issues with to the point I was underhitting my forehand so it wouldn't go flying in all directions). Looks super cool too.
